Short-Term Missions

Objectives:

1. We Seek to Be About Our Father's Business.
We make ourselves available to the Holy Spirit's direction and seek to reach those near to the Father's heart.

2. We Seek to Be Effective Ministers of the Gospel.
Our foundation is love. We desire to build and encourage the Body of Christ as well as support and encourage those who work in the field.

3. We Seek to Be Personally Changed as We Impact Others.
We desire to develop servant-hearts, a greater love for others, a deeper passion for God, and broadened perspectives.

Three Necessary Conditions:

1. You are committed.

First and foremost, do you live for Jesus Christ?
Are you walking in integrity?
Are you a faithful member of this (or another) congregation?
Are you involved in ministry, in service, in outreach, in a fellowship group, a prayer group, or a Bible study group?

2. You are called.

Have you experienced God's leading to go on this trip?

3. Your heart is in the right place.

Do you have a heart of humility?
Are you willing to serve others and to truly give of yourself?
